We’ve had a really lazy day today which has been a nice change (our holiday within a holiday). I personally haven’t left the caravan park and Nick and the boys have only gone as far as the small skate bowl across the road. We slept in, had a slow breakfast, did 3 loads of washing and hung them out to dry rather than used a dryer, planned where to go next, caught up with journals and blogs, and happily for the kids, they’ve got to play with a couple of other kids here all day (so they had no desire to leave the park). There’s a reasonable playground and they’ve just been mooching around and doing whatever they do. The car wasn’t ready until 4pm so now Nick has gone off adventuring on the Perth bus system to pick it up while I get dinner started. All in all a quiet, and yet pleasant day. It seems a complete waste to be in Perth and only actually see any of it for one day but, you can’t do everything, and sometimes it’s nice just to take a step back :-)
